Olympic Winter Games Weeks food
As soon as the Olympic Winter Games begin and I settle in for an evening of speed skating, snowboarding or bobsleigh, there’s one thing I know for sure: you need a proper snack. Watching sports without something tasty within arm’s reach? That just doesn’t work. From 5 to 22 February, the Winter Games take place in Milan, and as far as I’m concerned, that’s the perfect excuse to make things extra cosy – and above all, extra delicious.
That’s why, especially for this sports-filled winter, we’ve added a few new snacks to our online store. Think corndogs, chicken popcorn and, of course, a great dipping sauce to go with them. Craving comfort food instead? Whip up a pulled pork sandwich with our ready-to-eat pulled pork, go for a hearty burger bun, or put together a proper sausage tasting platter. Easy, full of flavour and perfect for long sports evenings. We’ve got everything you need to make your sports winter as tasty as possible.

Watching the Winter Games? Then the last thing you want is to spend hours in the kitchen.
When you think of Milan, the Winter Games probably aren’t the first thing that comes to mind. But this year, Milan really is the stage for the Olympic Winter Games 2026. And when the Games are on TV, there’s only one thing you want to do: sit down. And stay there. No one wants to hover around the kitchen while a downhill run is happening that you absolutely shouldn’t miss.
Watching sports without food is like skating without skates. Possible, sure. Logical? Not really.
So what do you go for?
I always start with something you can grab straight away. A board with sliced Chiapella salami, some dry sausage, cubes of cheese, and a warm snack like our house-made grill sausages. But you also need something that actually fills you up. You don’t want to be hungry again after two events. That’s where comfort food comes in. Think ready-made stews you simply heat up. No hassle, no hours in the kitchen. Just warm it in a pan and you’re good to go. Exactly what you need during the Winter Games. You’re here to watch, not to cook.
Not in the mood for a stew? Go for pulled pork or pulled chicken. If you’ve never tried it before, this is the moment. Pile it onto a bun, add a bit of sauce, and you’ve got something that’s both filling and full of flavour.
Want to give it a bit of a “Milan” twist? Keep it simple. Mozzarella, roasted peppers, maybe a little pesto or aioli. Italian vibes without needing a cookbook. A pulled pork sandwich, roasted peppers on top, mozzarella melted over it. Done. It may sound simple, but it works. This is sports watching, not a Michelin-star dinner.
And then there’s the burger. Our Black Angus burger with sun-dried tomatoes and Parmigiano. This is a burger that just makes sense. No fuss, no nonsense. Just great meat and great flavour. You don’t need to change a thing. Grill it or fry it, put it on a bun, and you’ve got a main dish that even the most dedicated sports fan will fall silent for.
So what does a perfect Winter Games evening look like?
You start with a snack, heat up a stew, load pulled pork or chicken onto buns, or go for a juicy burger. Meanwhile, the TV is on, the competition rolls on, and you’re not stuck in the kitchen the whole night.
