Artisan smoked sausage from LIVAR
All our sausages come from our own sausage factory, where master sausage maker Henri van Heerde is in charge. Henri and his team work with their own recipes that have been bestsellers in the stores in Meppel and Wanneperveen for years. The sausage maker has already won quite a few prizes. For example, making a really good traditional smoked sausage is not that easy at all. This means that the mixing of meat with herbs, liquid and salt is very precise. The Butchery works with recipes that have been successfully produced by Lantinga Slagerij & Fresh house are applied. The smoked sausages are all made by hand and smoked in advanced cabinets (without smoke aromas, but that goes without saying).

The smoked sausage is still raw, which means you need to simmer the sausage for another 20 minutes. To simmer a smoked sausage, place it in water on the stove, just below boiling point. Do not let the water boil.
