For French dishes
5 Iconic French Dishes
1. Coq au Vin This classic dish features chicken slowly braised in red wine — usually Burgundy — along with mushrooms, bacon, onions, and garlic. It’s often served with potatoes or bread to soak up the rich sauce.
2. Boeuf Bourguignon A hearty beef stew originating from the Burgundy region. The meat is simmered in red wine and beef stock, typically with carrots, onions, mushrooms, and bacon. The dish is known for its deep, complex flavors.
3. Steak Frites A simple yet beloved combination of grilled steak (often ribeye or entrecôte) and fries. It’s commonly served with sauces like béarnaise or peppercorn. A true staple of classic French bistro cuisine.
4. Steak Tartare Steak tartare is made from raw beef that is finely chopped or ground and mixed with ingredients like capers, onion, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and raw egg yolk. It’s usually served with pickles, bread, or fries. Due to its raw preparation, it requires very fresh, high-quality meat.
5. Poussin à la Moutarde A traditional French dish — though less well-known than other classics — that pairs the tenderness of young chicken (poussin) with the bold, tangy flavor of mustard, showcasing a signature French culinary technique.

Porc Au Grain
A pig breed with French origins. Raised in the vast French mountains, where they roam freely and enjoy a balanced diet made up of 75% grains. They are raised according to the exclusive Label Rouge regulations. The meat is known for its fine texture and intense flavor. Connoisseurs rave about it—and for good reason. Want to try it yourself?

From nose to tail
Did you know that the French, just like us, are passionate about the nose-to-tail principle? The French say, “Tout est bon dans le cochon” (everything is good in the pig), and they take it very seriously. If you like offal, France is the place to be. In our packages, we’ve left out the offal since it’s not everyone’s favorite, but we have put together a nice, diverse selection.

Poulet Superieure
Living like a king in France could very well apply to chickens with the Label Rouge certification. Thanks to the strict standards of this label, the chickens enjoy free-range conditions, resulting in meat of superior quality. Label Rouge chickens are mainly rustic breeds selected for their slow growth and excellent meat quality.
