The pigs live outdoors, can root to their heart's content in the monastery gardens, and are fed freshly grown Limburg grains. LIVAR is the only pork concept in the Netherlands with a 3*** Better Life rating from the Dutch Society for the Protection of Animals. You can taste this attention to the animals in the meat.
