Half and half meatballs Livar and Black Angus USDA prime
Half and half meatballs Livar and Black Angus USDA prime

We are incredibly proud of our new and improved range. Of course, we have always sold quality meat, but with North American Black Angus and Livar meat as our foundation, alongside the finest other breeds, we genuinely go beyond where your local butcher stops. When it comes to animal welfare (you may not believe it, but a self-respecting butcher considers that éreally important) and certainly when it comes to flavour. You can really taste it in these Half and half meatballs Livar and Black Angus USDA prime. They cost a little more than at the supermarket, but you can be 100% sure that you are eating honest, delicious meat.

What are half-and-half meatballs?
Our Half and half meatballs Livar and Black Angus USDA prime are freshly rolled meatballs made from pork and beef mince, traditionally seasoned and ready to throw straight into the pan. Delicious with a light breadcrumb coating. For super-fast cooking, without compromising on flavour and quality! The half-and-half mince we prepare comes from Limburg monastery pigs, and the beef from Black Angus USA. Both are ethically reared premium breeds with just that little bit more flavour!
Half and half meatballs Livar and Black Angus USDA prime
Not your average half-and-half meatball, if we do say so ourselves. These meatballs are not only incredibly tasty, but also come from 100% ethically reared breeds. At The Butchery, even our standard meat is anything but standard. Our basic beef comes from USA Black Angus cattle, which have roamed the North American plains for years without human interference and then spent several more months in feedlots. A good life! The same goes for the Limburg monastery pigs (LIVAR). It is no coincidence that these animals have received the 3*** Beter Leven rating from the Dutch Society for the Protection of Animals. And make no mistake, that is a very - very - big difference compared with the Beter Leven meat from the supermarket (1*). Eat less, but better meat and enjoy it to the fullest. Then everybody is happy.
How do you fry meatballs?
Sear briefly over a high heat, then fry over a low heat in a pan with plenty of butter (definitely plenty of butter!) and keep turning them. Add a little water now and then to prevent the meat from drying out. Easy!
