What is brisket?

Brisket is cut from the breast of beef and is also called Whole Packer. A whole brisket can be divided into thepoint and theflat. Meat for hardcore BBQ'ers.

Brisket Point (brisket) is inextricably linked to the BBQ culture in America. In addition to whole chicken, (short) ribs and of course pulled pork, it is even one of the categories in the famous American BBQ competitions and the masterpiece of many BBQ professionals. Why? Because brisket is perfect for slow preparation on the BBQ. Although of course you have to know what to do. 

What is Brisket Point?

What exactly is a brisket point? It is - yes - one of the parts of a brisket. We call a whole brisket a wholepacker and it consists of two muscles: the more or less square-cut 'Flat' and the triangular 'Point', the part with the most fat.

The entire brisket is marbled with fat, which ensures a tender end result through slow cooking at a low temperature. After slow cooking, cut the meat against the grain and serve it in slices. Beef with a lot of flavor and a firm bite from certified USA Black Angus Beef: it doesn't get any better!
