Forged Katai Santoku knife 18cm

The 18 cm Forged Katai Santoku knife is the Japanese interpretation of the chef's knife. The word 'santoku' translates to 'three virtues,' referring to the three cutting functions this knife can perform: fine, slice, and cube. Because of this versatility it is known as a true all-rounder in the kitchen.

The Forged Katai knives are made from Japanese VG10 steel with an impressive hardness of 60 Rockwell. Each knife is forged by hand, has a blade thickness of 2 mm and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The 18 cm Katai Santoku knife comes in a luxurious wooden box.
