Ordering is easy. Place your order before 11 a.m. and you will receive it the same evening (in the Netherlands and Belgium). You choose the delivery time yourself. The ham is flash frozen and vacuum packed, so that the quality is preserved until the moment of preparation.
Preparation method:
Remove the ham from the freezer 2 days in advance and make sure it is fully thawed. Preheat the oven to 160°C and place the ham in the oven. The cooking time is approximately 1 hour per kilogram. So for a 2 kg ham, it will take about 2 hours at 140°C. The easiest way is to use a meat thermometer, which should read 68°C in the center.
Rub the ham with a rub suitable for pork (for example, the all-purpose rub from No Rubbish or the Croix Valley St. Louis dry rub). After one hour, brush the ham with a tasty BBQ sauce, such as the Croix Valley St. Louis style BBQ sauce.
Let the ham rest for 10 minutes on the counter after reaching the desired temperature, and then brush it again with the sauce.
