What is hash meat?
Hachee meat is finely chopped beef stew meat. Hachee comes from hacher, the French translation for chopping. Taken literally, hash is a stew with vegetables and finely chopped meat, fish or poultry, but in practice in the Netherlands, hash is seen as a stew with beef, onion and acid (vinegar). A Dutch classic! Hachee meat is generally nicely streaky and somewhat fattier than, for example, goulash meat. This ensures moist meat with extra taste! This hash meat comes from Blonde d'Aquitaine, carefully prepared by Lantinga Sr. personally selected from farmers in our immediate area.

As mentioned: this hash meat comes from Blonde d'Aquitaine, or beef from the region that is selected weekly by my father Lantinga Sr from farmers with whom we have been working for years. (Delicious) meat with a fine origin. The animals graze outside in nature reserves in the summer and their menu consists - in addition to fresh grass - of Lucerne (luxury grass with high nutritional values), corn, grains, potatoes and a daily portion of vitamins and minerals. The animals have plenty of space and are cared for with love. This hash meat has that authentic beef taste, partly because of that good life. As it used to be and as it should be...
