How do you cook a sausage?
A sausage is easy to prepare by gently turning it in a frying pan. Briefly soaking it in water can help prevent the sausage from bursting, but this is generally considered a rather old-fashioned habit. Always turn a sausage using tongs rather than piercing it with a fork, as puncturing the casing causes the meat to lose its juices—which would be a shame. Sausages are, of course, also excellent on the BBQ or grill!
