The burgers are made from ground Wagyu beef. Japanese Wagyu is graded A5, the highest score used in Japan. This says something about the marbling and quality of the meat. Australian Wagyu with a score of 8+ also falls into the highest class. Meat from Australia often has a slightly stronger flavor than Japanese meat. Mixing the two creates a burger that is easy to prepare and yet tastes distinctly different from a regular beef burger.

What is a burger?

Wagyu from Japan with an A5 rating is known for its fine marbling and the way the fat is distributed throughout the meat. In Australia, Wagyu is bred from Japanese bloodlines. There, the meat often receives a marbling score of 8 or higher. This means that the meat is of comparable quality, but with a slightly different flavor profile. By using both varieties together in burgers, you get a product that is both accessible and special.
