How to Prepare the Shrimp Skewer
Before cooking, defrost the shrimp skewers. You can do this in one of two ways: leave them at room temperature for about an hour, or place them under cold running water for around 5 minutes. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season them with a marinade of your choice.
You can prepare the skewers in several ways:
- Under the grill: grill for 2 to 3 minutes until nicely pink.
- In the pan: cook in a hot grill or frying pan, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- On the barbecue: place directly on the grill and turn after 1 to 1.5 minutes.
