This culinary gravy with lemongrass is a light sauce with a fresh, vibrant flavour. The base is a beef stock enriched with onion, carrot, celery and garlic. The addition of lemongrass brings a bright, aromatic note that balances beautifully with the savoury stock.

This gravy is ready to use and can be heated directly in a saucepan or sauce pot. Its fresh flavour pairs well with a variety of dishes — from seared veal to chicken or Asian-inspired plates. Also delicious as a base for a pan sauce with a touch of butter or extra herbs.

Heat up gravy in 3 steps:
1. Place the gravy in the refrigerator a day in advance to thaw.
2. Hold the packaging over a saucepan, puncture the end with a sharp knife and squeeze the knhoud
3. Heat the gravy over low heat, stirring, until the gravy boils and is smooth.
(Heating can of course also be done using the cooking fat of the meat.)
