Pecan Wood Chips

Every Big Green Egg chef has his own style. With the original Wood Chips you give all your dishes a characteristic smoky taste. Mix the (soaked) wood chips with your charcoal or sprinkle a handful of wood chips over the charcoal. Or do both: that's a matter of taste. Just like which type of wood chips you choose: Hickory, Pecan, Apple, Oak or Cherry. The wood chips are suitable for short smoking preparations.

The wood chips are a great addition to any dish. Hickory goes well with red meat, turkey and chicken. Pecan nut gives a rich, smooth flavor to fish and poultry. Apple provides a naturally sweet taste to fish, shellfish and poultry. And cherry is everyone's friend with a mild fruit flavor. A bag of wood chips has a capacity of 2.9 liters.
