What is a Chuck Eye Steak?

The Chuck Eye Steak sits directly on the rib eye and therefore has more or less the same properties. The meat is slightly fattier, but that also provides more flavor. Only meat from the 6th to 12th rib of the beef may be sold as rib eye. Chuck eye is located at the 5th rib and is therefore having its own party! The meat is often cheaper than Rib Eye and is therefore also called Poor Men's Rib Eye. Don't ask how it is possible, but take advantage of it. Chuck Eye Steak is indeed a bit cheaper, but certainly no less tasty for enthusiasts.

Nowadays a lot is sold as 'Angus beef', but pure-bred American Black Angus meat is in a class of its own! You taste the good life.
